The self-service restaurant at the Rettenbach Glacier is the perfect place to recharge your batteries during the day. The food served here at the foot of the glacier is healthy and wholesome with fast service. So you can take to your skis again as quickly as possible!
In summer, food and drinks are served at the bar in-front of the glacier restaurant. The self-service restaurant is open during the snow season, which extends from October to May in the glacier region. Some delicious dishes await you! Service is fast to ensure you do not lose any time and can return to your day of skiing as quickly as possible! Despite this, quality is of the utmost importance to us.
The Rettenbach glacier in winter
The two glaciers, the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers, are linked by a car and ski tunnel and herald the start of the ski season. The legendary World Cup opening takes place here in October and even in autumn, you can ski along 37 km of pistes at over 3,250 m altitude. And if you have forgotten something on your perfect day of skiing, the Riml shop at the Rettenbach Glacier is on hand to help you top up your equipment. As a guest at a Riml family hotel, you can also make use of the ski depot.

During the warm months of the year, the Rettenbach Glacier is a popular excursion destination from Soelden. The bar in-front of the restaurant is open to guests, hikers and cyclists during this time. There is also a checkpoint in-front of the bar where bikers can calculate their times. This marks the end of the 13 km route up from Soelden which covers 1,300 m of altitude difference.
